Response to the Consultation on the Proposed Legislative Competence Order relating to Community Councils and Councillor Recruitment, Retention and Allowance

Dear Sir/Madam

Following a recent meeting of Llanddewi Velfrey Community Council in Pembrokeshire I have been asked to respond to your letter of 4th August.

With regards the questions at the end of your correspondence:

Q1 Councillors agree that legislative competence for Matters 12.8 to 12.17 should be transferred to the Assembly

Q2 Having read the proposal on the website it appeared to be very broad in its context.

Q3 & Q4 As a lay person the document was very difficult to follow and did not appear to make specific points sufficiently clearly to be able to comment on either of these questions in a meaningful way.
