Communications

The Communications team has responsibility for leading on the National Assembly’s external and internal communications.

Particular emphasis is placed on providing:

• A strategic framework for Assembly communications;

• Direct support to the Presiding Officers and Commissioners in their externally facing roles;

• Liaison with the press, broadcast and online media;

• Delivering the Assembly’s edemocracy strategy;

• Management of corporate publications and marketing materials;

• Delivering community, national and international Outreach;

• Delivery of the Assembly’s major events programme;

• The delivery of bilingual services;

• Co-ordination of responses to Freedom of Information requests;

• Internal Communications.
