Third Assembly Committees (2007 - 2011)

The Legislation Committees consider proposals for new legislation by taking evidence, usually from the member who put forward the legislation, stakeholders and other experts.

These Committees were established to last for the life of the Third Assembly to examine the Government's policies, actions and spending in their particular fields.

These were the Committees that oversaw the work of the National Assembly and particularly the Government.
