About the Proposed Measure

The purpose of this Measure is to make statutory provision, through a legislative framework, for the development and promotion of the Welsh red meat industry.

Current Stage

Following agreement by the National Assembly of the text of the proposed Measure, it received Royal Approval on 11 May 2010. The proposed Measure is now a Measure of the National Assembly (a Welsh law).
